The venue is MODERN, fairly clean and the location is good close enough to Meili Snow mountain and Balagezong and restaurants in old town. The staff is absolutely friendly. The rooms are airy and stylish with shower, heaters. The hotel has a nice bar. Thank you for the stay in this place - would have stayed for longer.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They even drove out late at night to get medicine for me when I fell sick. The rooms were beautifully designed and cozy, with all the amenities we needed. We were impressed by the modern shower that had a heater fan to keep us warm while drying off. The location was convenient, just a short walk to shops and restaurants. we highly recommend this hidden jewel in the old town.

karesansui in shangri-la was amazing! cozy rooms, comfy bed, and great location. staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, with warm tea, soups, and even a farewell gift. free shuttle and helpful tour assistance. highly recommended!

Road into old town was inconvenient for parking.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the old town! The interior design is modern and minimalist, creating a unique and stylish atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options including porridge, fried egg, Tibetan bread, and tea or coffee. The breakfast area had a Japanese bar feel, allowing for conversations with fellow travelers.

All in all, everything was perfect at this hotel.

The staff was friendly and offered us hot drinks upon arrival. the restaurant recommendations were great. the hotel is in a nice location with a park nearby and easy access to the airport. They even helped us order a cake for my friend's birthday ahead of time, which was a thoughtful gesture.

The bathroom was not separated from the rest of the room, which made it uncomfortable for privacy when sharing with a partner. the room design was unique but not practical, with stones on the floor making it difficult to walk around in the middle of the night.

There were a couple of drawbacks during my stay. The bathrooms had thin curtains instead of doors, which lacked privacy.

We had a great stay in this hotel located in the old city of Shangri-La. The hotel's location is perfect as it is walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Ganden Monastery. Moreover, the hotel facilities were exceptionally clean, and the hotel provided free transportation to and from the airport. The hotel staff was friendly, and they even offered to carry our luggages which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was also good, and we appreciated that there were western options available.

This hotel offers exceptional service and luxurious exclusive amenities, fulfilling all our needs during our stay. The sun terrace provided stunning views of the surrounding area while the spacious garden area was perfect for relaxation. The room advantages were impressive, including a relaxing bath tub, cozy and clean ambiance, and comfortable bed. The restaurant offered exquisite food options and the bar/lounge area was perfect for a nightcap.

The only downside was the lack of privacy provided by the single curtain separating the bathroom and sleeping area. It could have been improved with a more solid partition.
